From March 28-April 20, the Big Thunder Ranch area at Disneyland hosted the first-ever Springtime Roundup with Easter-inspired cookies, crafts, entertainment and more. There were also photo-ops available with the Easter Bunny and various Disney bunnies: the White Rabbit, Brer Rabbit, Roger Rabbit, Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh and Thumper.
I always love to come see the intricate carved pumpkins displayed here during Halloween, so I was pleased to see they had a similar set-up for spring, but with painted eggs instead. (Although they admitted some of these larger ones weren’t real eggs.)
It seems like Disney knows which films and attractions are my favorites, hence these eggs decorated like Sally and The Mayor from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Then there was an egg for The Enchanted Tiki Room, delicately painted with the parrots and tiki from the 1963 brochure.
