It’s time for another GIVEAWAY! In my post about the recreations of the original 1963 souvenir brochure for Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, I mentioned how the Dole Whip stand recently got another shipment of tiki sippers to sell. They’re made out of resin and the design is based on Marc Davis’s chanting tikis inside the attraction. I picked one up on my last trip to Disneyland and I’ll be sending it to one of you!
The rules are a bit different for this giveaway. There are three ways to enter (and you can increase your chances by doing all three).

The Tiki Chick 
Oh, boy, favorite part of Enchanted Tiki Room. Tough question since I like the entire experience from start (getting a Dole whip) to finish (the relaxing sound of rain trickling on the windows). Well, if I had to pick a favorite, I’d say the chanting tiki totem poles with moving mouths and googly eyes.
My favorite part of the Enchanted Tiki Room is the entrance with the burning Tiki Torches. The tiki torches at the ETR really set the stage for the Adventure Land entrance. Thanks for the fun posts!
I love the other-worldliness of entering in, with the darkness & the rain – the way you simply leave everything else behind. And the singing flowers ain’t bad, either!
It’s hard to pick, but I’d have to say the sining flowers and the thunder storm are tied for my favorite parts!
I just like angering the gods through fun and frivolity! Bring out the bird mobile!
First time I was in the Tki Room was around 1965 or 66 and I was fascinating by the totem poles on the inner corners of the room they way their mouths opened and eyes moved during the drum chants. And when it rained outside at the end of the show. I love the entire experience.
My favorite parts of the Tiki Room are things that I initially recall from being young and going there to relax in the middle of the afternoon with my family. I love the portion of the show when the “flowers sing” in Hawaiian. It always had such a peaceful feeling to it. In contrast to that, I loved it when the “tikis played the drums” as it was such a foreign sound and emotion to what I was used to from my home life.

My favorite part of the Tiki Room is eating a Dole whip in the air conditioning after a long day in the park. That and the thunderstorm.
I really love everything about it, but, my favorite part, getting to watch my kids in absolute amazement. So great being able to experience that with them like I did with my parents. Truly enchanting!!!
I love, love, love the Tiki Room and am especially fond of watching the tiki gods come to life in the pre-show. Actually…it’s a tie between the pre-show and just enjoying the beautiful waiting area (I’d love to have a tropical garden like that, but can’t keep a plant alive…).

My favorite part: the calming of the vacano, as seen from the view out the fake windows.
least favorite part: when the attraction caught of fire, killing zazu & the bird from Aladdin. Now we have to listen to those birds with the embarrassingly bad-quasi-racist-sterotypical accents from Scotland
My favorite part of the Enchanted Tiki room was just the sheer joy of the music, the decor, and the dialogue. It was/is still a very fond memory of my childhood.
LOVE the singing flowers, especially the Birds of Paradise.
I love the Tiki Garden waiting area. Reading about all the different tiki gods never gets old!
